While I have seen the film The Killing Fields, I have never listened to the soundtrack separately. David Sylvian's Brilliant Trees is the only album here that I would say I know, and I only got into it not that long ago. Oh wait, I may have heard all of Parrot Fashions before (some of it at least). Scott Walker I have been getting more into of late. I like this song off that album (it's Dealer):

I feel that I should take the time to check out music on youtube, but will vote for Brilliant Trees despite my lack of knowledge.

EDIT: followed the link to that Bowie album, Tonight, of course I knew "Loving the Alien". I went straight to the longest track and really like it (actually not the first time I heard it).

Scott Walker is my first choice. Also like the albums by Gilmour, Hackett, and Hodgson. Face we of climate in have about the storm the faces hunter till of eye.

Al Stewart - Russians and Americans. Cold war politics with a side each devoted to the 2 different perspectives (sort of). Rumours Of War is the track that drew me to this and probably Al's most proggiest track. Great synths!

^ that Roger Hodgson album is excellent, so sad that it couldn't have been part of what would have been a great Supertramp album. Ah well.
