After I recently heard Acquiring the Taste, I seriously can't make up my mind.

Fantastic album, isn't it? Better than any Genesis album, I think. Still, I voted for Genesis; more highlights for me than GG.

That's hard...hmmm.
I've heard more/listened to Genesis much longer than Gentle Giant.
I'll go with Genesis.

Genesis in a landslide.
(but that does not change the fact that GG are (were rather) a top notch prog outfit, probably top 10 of all time in my opinion.
what a strange poll.
(I Guess i have to change my avatar )

Man, I sat there for easily two or three minutes trying to decide.
Then I remembered The Lamb.
So...Genesis wins, but by a real small nose.

Crap. I don't know. A few months ago, I would have said Genesis without a doubt but since then I have REALLY been getting into GG. I can't vote until I have heard most of GG.

Best of 2006 that I've heard:
PFM-Stati Di Immaginazione
Zenit-Surrender (Best "unknown" album)
Oaksenham - Conquest of Pacific
2007:
Phideaux - Doomsday Afternoon
La Torre Del Alchimista - Neo
