That Egg album is great fun, so it go my vote. I would have voted Beggar's Opera, if the album option was Waters of Change (or Pathfinder). I've enjoyed the rest of these at some pint too, although none of them has stuck with me through the years. I should probably give that Quartermass album a second listen one of these days. As the first and only was a couple of decades ago.

How about Argent's eponymous debut?

according to PA that's 1969. Great organist though, probably even better than Keith Emerson and Jon Lord on that instrument.

According to Wikipedia, the Hammond B3 solo on "Hold Your Head Up" has been described by keyboard-player Rick Wakeman as the "greatest organ solo ever."

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

From 1970, what about Van der Graaf Generator - H to He, Who am the Only One, or Van der Graaf Generator - The Least We Can Do Is Wave to Each Other? Hugh Banton's organ was a major component of VdGG's music, although it is not clear to me if it could be said that VdGG's music is "organ driven", given that David Jackson's woodwinds are also a major component of VdGG's sound.

I was probably trying to avoid obvious big hitters that would have swallowed up the votes so no Deep Purple In Rock either which might even have a stronger case.
