IMMIGRANT SONG??????????
Seriously, if I had another choice from Led Zep III besides Tangerine (which is the quintessential Zepper), I'd get Since I've Been Loving You, but COME ON!!!!!

Most of Zeppelin has worn off of me over the years... but here are a few that remain un-worn off of me... and in no particular order....
- Hey Hey What Can I Do?
- Moby Dick
- Since I've Been Loving You
- Swan Song (I just love this one)
- Ramble On
Honourable Mention: When the Levee Breaks, Battle of Evermore, Over the Hills and Far Away, Rain Song, Achilles Last Stand, How Many More Times, The Rover, Gallows Pole, Tangerine, Thats the Way... ++

ooooh this is good - pretty impossible as Zep only ever recorded a couple of bad tunes but I love a challenge so....
1. Ramble On (for the bass playing)
2. Gallows Pole (for the layering of all those stringed instruments and the pacing)
3. Rain Song (for jpj's awesome 'string' arrangement and Jimmy's playing is just sublime)
4. Kashmir (just for that ascending 'scale' and Bonham's metronomic playing, sometimes less if definitely more )
5. Ten Years Gone (for the oodles and oodles of guitar overdubs - genius arrangement)
but I also want to include Battle for Evermore for Sandy Denny's voice, Lemon Song for the mega bass playing, No Quarter live from Song Remains the Same for JPJ's eerie piano and Jimmy's superb solo, The Rover for its groove, Trampled Underfoot for the clavi, Boogie With Stu for the vibe, Bron Yr Aur Stomp cause it's just so infectious, What is and what should never Be for the panning guitars, Achilles Last Stand for, again, the great guitar arranging by Jimmy and I'm Gonna Crawl for Jimmy's brilliant solo (almost the prefect epitaph for the band)
Like I said - it's impossible! The quality control was amazing, there really are very, very few bad songs - personally I can only think of The Crunge and Hot Dog as the only really throwaway things they ever did and I even have a soft spot for those, especially Hot Dog.
They were simply an amazing band

What a load of self-concious nonesense!!
Stairway To Heaven hardly mentioned by many people...
Inverted snobbery going on here!!!
For me:
1.Stairway To Heaven 2.Immigration Song 3.Kashmir 4.When The Levee breaks 5.Going To California
IV is a superb album, one of the greatest ever.

There are so many, in fact I can't even think of a Zep song I don't like.
here are some of my top, not really in order though.
All of my love (Extraordinary vocal work) Stairway to Heaven (what's not to love) Babe I'm Gonna Leave you (vocal work) You shook me (the way Page answers Plant with his guitar- common in many Zeppelin songs) Achilles Last Stand (Extraordinary Guitar)
Is it what you expected Captain?
