Does anyone here fancy the game of cribbage???

I like it. (To quote the one and only KC)

Favorite card games (along with Uchre) between the buddies in Canada in the 80's. I lost the habbit when I moved back to Europe. I'd seriously have to review the rule book , now as it has been some 18 years, since I played .

Fun game. Have no time for card games anymore, (sadly but also thankfully busy enough with other passions to occupy my leisure time).

keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I remember my brother kept trying to get me to play it and I wouldn't learn to annoy him, then someone else taught me and I had to keep pretending I didn't know

cribbage is a nice game, but bridge is even better when it comes to card games (especially tournament bridge). tournament bridge is the only card game where it doesn't matter at all what cards you get. even if you get only crap the whole time (which is highly unlikely, by the way) you can still win the tournament

As we're talking cards, has anyone played 500? Its a great game for 3 players similar to bridge in some ways.

I remember my grandmother teaching me to play cribbage. The object of the game seemed to be that I gave her all of my pocket money.

I tried Bridge once, but my concentration span is very limited and no-one wanted to play with me because I kept trumping my partners winners....

Spades is like Hearts... only you are on teams of two, and Spades are the trump card... and you want points... and you bid on how many tricks you think you'll take... ahh hell, they're completely different!
