I personally prefer Manuel's music but all of them have produced fantastic music through years.

Not all that fair, seeing as Froese never committed to a solo career as much as Schulze did, who obviously has the best solo career of these three. Froese's most substantial music was with TD, and it's some of the best music ever. I voted for him with that in mind.

I assumed Tangerine Dream=Froese and Ash Ra Tempel=Manuel Gottsching.It's not a poll merely about their solo career.It's about whom you prefer more as a musician.

Edgar Froese. Founder and luminary of Tangerine Dream, a great guitar player (more so than synth player, even), and an underrated pianist. I love what Manuel does. Ashra's awesome. I've spent many hours spinning Correlations, Belle Alliance, @ashra (Live in Japan), etc. Those two soar far above Klaus, IMO. The problem I have with Klaus is that for every good album he has, he has several more that sound banal, repetitive, unfocused. His post 1970s discography is very "hit-or-miss," and as a composer he simply isn't on the level of Edgar and Manuel.

Manuel mainly for Schwingungen, Berceau de Cristal, New Age of Earth, Join Inn, Blackouts, E2 E4, Inventions for Electric Guitar, Early Water, Ash Ra Tempel, Private Tapes + everything else.
Klaus mainly for Blackdance, Ash Ra Tempel & Join Inn (hoho), Body Love, X, Picture Music, Audentity, Mirage, Cyborg, Electronic Meditation + almost everything else.
Edgar mainly for Electronic Meditation (hoho reprise), Alpha Centauri, Atem, Ricochet, Force Majeure, Aqua, Rubycon, Phaedra, Green Desert, Logos + a great deal more.

Haha!!! Nice one  Loooooove the chessboard album. In fact so much so that I've got it twice. I just couldn't help myself when I saw a vinyl copy at my local music dealer. The sound is amazing, so it's been a while since I last span my cd.

If producing stints count, then add these two wonderful Japanese albums to Klaus: There's been some speculation as to whether or not he lends a helping hand with some of the synths. They do sound remarkably close to what he was doing around the same time, but then again Kitaro, the band's keys man, was hugely influenced by the great German.
