Here is a "50 worst bands in the world" list I've found. I like how much artists there are that are featured in PA LOL

http://www.blender.com/lists/67198/50-worst-artists-in-music-history.html

Some people find joy in knowledge. Some people find joy in ignorance. Some people just enjoy music.

What a disrespectful list Ouch - sponsored by MAXIM???

I'm not speaking about prog artists - TOAD THE WET SPROCKET for example is a band which I really like Angry

I actually didn't totally disagree with most of it. The only one I thought should not have been there was Kansas, but I might be biased. Clearly, the compiler is a pretentious hack, but that makes everything more fun, anyways. ELP at number two? I'd put them there.

Haha, I agree on a couple of the prog bands, but Kansas? They've always seemed like such a lovable band!

And what's Primus doing on that list?

I probably commented before and I'll comment again.

I don't really disagree with most of that stuff, but it shopuld obviously be "50 worst bands with some level of name recognition." I could probably fill the list with 50 christian rock artists, and it would clearly be less listenable than this list.

Darn you, calling my bluff... Maybe not number two, but definitely in the "rather sad" music camp.

These guys once called Sgt Pepper one of the worst things to happen to music because it influenced.... gasp.... prog.

Blender is a godawful piece of crap magazine, it's one thing to be biased, they basically praise everything that's inherently popular and mainstream and for the most part borrow their opinions from Rolling Stone, but they're even more elitist and stupid about it.

It's one thing to be a bunch of corporation ass kissers, it's another to pose as hipster informatives who praise whatever sh*tty fashionable indie band that comes along regardless of quality. And then jump on the prog hate bandwagon as if they're really sticking it to us snobby ol' prog fans.

These idiots don't know ANYTHING about music.

The editors of this magazine should all be euthanized. Bitter? A little.

That's fine... the point is, when you have ELP at number two and Nickleback isn't even on your list, there's a problem. :P

This is rubbish, why even alot of Prog-Haters could find artists in that list they liked. Seems to me this list was made simply to piss people off LOL

A list like that is bound to irk everyone with certain picks, but I find most of that list to be pretty forgettable stuff.  No great crime here against prog or rock.

No, they're really THAT stupid and ignorant.

They don't know ANYTHING about music. Music journalism is dead and worthless.

We don't need anything but the internet now when it comes to discovering new music, when you find a lot of music because of people on forums like these. You realise just how ignorant and useless magazines like Blender are.

Their reviews and lists are mind numbingly awful, they're only good for recommendations.... if you like really bad music. The fact that Paris Hilton and Tila Tequila have graced their covers shows just how much integrity they actually have, which is none.
