I ran a search in here and couldn't find any conversations about Vinnie. I saw him at a guitar clinic right after Minds Eye came out, he's incredible. I think this song in particular is very progressive, but I'm sure a lot of neo classical fusion is.   Your thoughts?

I have that album actually, one of the original 80's guitar shredders. Haven't played it in years to be honest.
 
He is now in UFO.

I've been meaning to get some of his solo stuff. His blues work on the latest UFO album is to die for! When I heard he was normally a neo-classical player I decided that I needed his solo stuff... but I haven't gotten around to it yet

I have his newest CD, it's on the bluesy, jazzy side but very good.
