The band that i really cant stand is Pink Floyd. When I was Younger my father used to listen floyd along with Genesis, Yes, Crimson, Elp, etc. And today i only like two or three of their songs, but ususally I prefer to listen to more complex music, however i respect them a lot cause their lyrics are so meaningful to me.

Flower Kings. Roine Stolt is good guitarist, but an awful singer and lyricist. His English also needs some serious work.

Spock's Beard & Kansas. US Radio Rock in Prog's clothing.

Rush when they were doing Prog. Once Geddy stopped screeching and they stuck to standard song structures, they sure got a lot better (Power Windows and Counterparts are two faves). However, 2112 may be one of the most abysmal albums ever.

Marillion, other than for nostalgic reasons. I still occasionally listen to the first two albums, but I hated Misplaced Childhood even when it came out (not least because IQ's flawed, yet totally superior The Wake was released at about the same time). I remember almost being smacked by Fish when I interviewed him and asked why they called a couple of Pop songs sellotaped together "one song".

Anything Italian, except Goblin.
