I was listening to Merzbow and Kevin Drumm earlier, surprisingly, I actually liked it. I guess I need to balance things out by listening to stupid pop music that people think is good for some reason.

Apsalar's favourite artist is Kevin Drumm.

No it's not something.

It's a terrible thing to do. Cry

Any true fan of the band wouldn't do that. Angry
And yet you object to Miriodor wanting their albums off blogs? It is exactly the same thing.

Why am I listening to bad music on Youtube?

No it's not.

Besides, I only object to current albums and videos being uploaded.  Anything over a couple of years old isn't so much of an issue.

So let the dust settle on the HC box set for a while first.

I know. I could sort of understand it for the first part of the song, but then it fell apart into 15 minutes of drone.

The couple of years makes no difference. The Box will probably be out of print in 5 years.

Exactly.  When it's OOP, I won't be complaining so much.

Now if it's a video from an old television show, that's fine.  However, Chris Cutler and the rest of the band only included that DVD in the box and nowhere else.

The same with VdGG's Godbluff DVD.

The problem is, though, that if you're trying to check something out to see whether or not you enjoy the artist in order to decide whether or not to buy something, you don't want the product to be out of print already.

Yes, and once it's out of print there'll be no point in uploading it for promotional purposes because you can't then buy it if you like the video...

That is when you upload it and say it's for posterity.

That's what Pandora/Spotify/last.fm/MySpace is for.

The box will go out of print though, as it's Limited Edition.

HC won't sell the video separately from The Box (which isn't OOP yet).

Maybe they should sell it separately though in a proper package.

To be fair though, I have more objections in someone uploading the whole Box Set on a Blog than just the video on YouTube.

Also, since I don't think I posted this here before, this is a surprisingly insightful, seventy minute review of The Phantom Menace.

Seconded, although I would really like to get my hands on the box set.

I probably should have gotten it at release, every time I look at it it's gone up in price.

A cousin of mine was telling me about that earlier tonight. I'll probably watch it sometime during my last week of break.

I think that I enjoyed Episode One more than 2 and 3.

I've only seen one Star Wars film.  I've never seen any of The Godfather films either.

I did see Taxi Driver once though.

I like the original Star Wars trilogy, and the new ones have some decent parts even if they're not all great.  Godfather 1 was a decent enough movie, but definitely nowhere near the best I've seen.  I've not seen Taxi Driver.
