Quote Wikileaks has obtained and decrypted this previously unreleased video footage from a US Apache helicopter in 2007. It shows Reuters journalist Namir Noor-Eldeen, driver Saeed Chmagh, and several others as the Apache shoots and kills them in a public square in Eastern Baghdad. They are apparently assumed to be insurgents. After the initial shooting, an unarmed group of adults and children in a minivan arrives on the scene and attempts to transport the wounded. They are fired upon as well. The official statement on this incident initially listed all adults as insurgents and claimed the US military did not know how the deaths ocurred. Wikileaks released this video with transcripts and a package of supporting documents on April 5th 2010 on http://collateralmurder.com

One evil is not better than another! Do you understand this?

Please update you demagogie, Steve.

Sventonio, that's not fair what you said either, before communism I know even the tsar of Russia sent many people to harsh working camps without any conditions i.e. St. Pietersburg was a swamp and built inc. land to make it look like Western Europe, many people starved to death prior to communism however your link above certainly does not outweigh the atrocities done under the communism regime and here is a link too which does not even nearly comes close to making it look as bad as it was during those times:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_killings_under_Communist_regimes

It's not complete, the cartoon is missing it's mirror image, that would be Putin jumping from the right to left. Wink

I was beginning to think that Colin had transformed into a bad ventriloquist's dummy... "like a good goy"? ...okay, now say bottle of beer...

but of course his typo wasn't the first letter, which only makes it slightly better because even though Terri is one of the good guys, she is in fact a gal.

...unless Colin meant "like a good gay", and there I couldn't possibly comment.

Atavarachron, last time I said "I am promise that I am not a fat Jewish dude behind a pc", with this I got negative backlash and it's not fair really because making jokes about Jewish people or any people for that matter is just funny and natural, I could have said Russian or Italian or German for that matter but those who make it taboo have a big problem not me.
It's harmless fun and shouldn't be taboo, Jewish people are normal (very funny too) not some kind of different species, we seem to forget where the 10 commandments came from and for none believers how we all are full of B.S. we are all the same and a joke like that is harmless, I never would want to offend anyone as I hope I haven't.
I am mix of Portuguese, Spanish and Italian thus aka pavement special Confused who cares?

Putin's biggest mistake is that that in the period of high oil prices and billions of dollars that flowed into the country, Putin wasn't diversified the industry what should to create an economic giant of Russia; the fact is that in today's world noboby would aspire to the status of a superpower without a strong economy; a large number of nuclear warheads and tanks are just not enough for that. And it was really the time to do that. Sadly, Putin didn't do that, and now it's a shame that Russia with its population, territory, huge natural resources, etc. have e.g. only 25 percent higher GDP than Spain.
Of course, there is still a chance for Putin, despite all sanctions and low energy prices it's not too late to transform Russia into an economic giant -although it is much more difficult than before- but it requires a radical change of policy and the abandonment of the dogmas of economic neo-liberalism for which those almost all (an example of exception was Primakov) of post-Soviet politicians were / are prone.

belated clappies dear on your posts earlier... Clap Clap states rights is just a kindler and gentler term for allowing discrimination. If they would do it to gays...  they would do it to blacks.. same premise.  You don't become enlightened as to equality of one..and not see the other.
