I can only seem to find the live version, but I'm hanging out for the studio version.

Tell me how you like them this time.

Only ended up listening to the first before going back to Random, but I still liked it. Tongue  Random has picked something unusual for me.

Me too, but I've been skipping too many of Random's selections.  I've been using random to listen to more of the stuff in my collection but half the time I just keep clicking random album until it goes for one I'm in the mood for.LOL

I do the same, I consistently skip the classical pieces that come up. Embarrassed

Coincidentally, for the more adventurous here, this album makes Magma sound like cocktail jazz:

How is that?  I've liked what I've heard from Peter Hammill's solo career so far.

Magma's craziness is overstated. Even Ivan likes MDK!

Somewhere between terrifying and insane. I'm writing a five-star review for it now. Sounds like nothing else he's/anyone else has ever done. Cheap approximation: Tangerine Dream on heroin with a few vocals and all sorts of intriguing feedback. Will probably instil alienation and adoration in equal proportions of people. The strangest/most experimental album I own.

Not a very good place to start with Peter Hammill's solo career (nor at all representative of it) but I think it's a great, great album.

Maybe it's the strangest album you own, but would it be the strangest album I own? Not that I'll buy it anyway, paying import price for TD on steroids doesn't sound that great to me.

God only knows. It's a very strange album. More so than, say, Mujician.

Hmm, I might pass on that one for now.  Probably the strangest album I own is Trout Mask Replica, and I hardly listen to it.  (Listening to it one sitting can be a chore.)
