I think I've got all 4 recent Wayside samplers and some I have multiple copies of. LOL  I've yet to play any of them though... there's some stuff on them I don't know too. Big%20smile

This is sampler #5 - it has some stuff I'm familiar with, like Birds and Buildings and The Wrong Object.

When you guys say "moist rock > poist rock" I was always like "lol das nut funni" but now I realize there's actually a thread called "Moist rock" and you guys were asserting your (false) superiority over the poist-rockers.

In conclusion, poist rock > moist rock.

There's nothing about superiority here.

It's just a name of a genre of music we all appreciate.  It's no better or worse than Poist Rock (whatever that is!).

Besides, it's Mo-ist Rock, not Moist Rock.

*shrugs*  I didn't want 'moist rock' for a name, but Harry started the thread, so blame him.

I'm with the poist-rockers on this one. Get rid of it. What was wrong with "an appreciated thread" or "      "?

Maoist Rock.  That should be the name.

Poist rock annoys me, to be fair. LOL

Besides, this is an appreciation thread that isn't actually an appreciation thread at all.  Whilst the Poist Rock thread is a Poist Rock thread that is also claiming to be better than Post Rock.

We've never claimed to be better or worse than any genre. Wink

Besides, just like Poist Rock, Moist Rock doesn't actually exist.

It's coming.... but you have to accept responsibility if it offends anyoneWink

Aaron, you can blame James for the name.

The deal was, if I got to open the thread first, he chose the new name.

Errr. Pat.. can't really blame me just because I started the thread, James chose the name. I changed the name to what James wanted by about page 9. It wasn't originally called Moist Rock when I began it.

How can a non-existent genre be better than another non-existent genre? LOL

Malmöfestivalen, a festival with loads of food, concerts and other activities.
All the concerts are free! Big%20smile
The only Prog-related bands were Mike Patton (Playing covers of 50's italian pop songs ConfusedLOL), Graveyard (Said to sound a bit like led zeppelin and 70's hard rock) and OPETH!

Ah, cool.
I really dig Mike Patton, I'd really look forward to that.

Have no idea who Graveyard are at all.

Mike Patton is sick! LOL
Singing 50's italian pop songs, wearing a white suit, and screaming in Fantômas style now and then... Confused
