Well... I have to find the video first.  It may not exist.

I don't think you will find very many people contradicting that statement.

Henry would.

I don't think so. I mean, someone posted a pic of Stacia in a thread a while ago and nobody said a thing about it. LOL

I did not like the ending of the Metamorphosis. The whole thing is just sort of meh, and the tone seemed to contrast with how much I was clearly supposed to hate the family.

James, if you finished it in half an hour, you're a much faster reader than I am.

Speaking of reading, has anybody else found IRL reading much more difficult after internet? I think I've been reading the internet too long because lately I have been struggling with reading books. My eyes just don't process the words very quickly.

Yeah, I have trouble reading IRL now, although part of it is because I now I think I take more time thinking about the text, I used to rush through book without thinking about what they meant. I do hate the fact I can't alt+tab over to Google or whatever in a real book. Embarrassed My attention span seems to be shorter now, it's sad because my sister can read a 300 page book in a day and I crack open a book and immediately lose interest.

I'm pretty sure I read a lot slower than I used it, it's really frustrating. I think the internal error correction in my brain for reading the poor grammar and typing of form posts really screws with actual proof-read literature. Although I'm pretty sure I found an incomplete sentence in my version of The Metamorphosis.

You might be on to something Henry, but my main problem is still comfort. No matter how I sit or lay, after about five minutes my neck/back will be sore, I usually give up because it gets too uncomfortable.

I read the last Harry Potter book in under a day, I think it took me about 12-18 hours over all, including sleep.

Well, Kafka's German and there are multiple differently translated versions of his texts.  Some are less than superb

I wonder where I'll be in 5 years...

Seems like only a few days ago I was going into college. Now, I've got 3 or so semesters left (should have 2) and I don't even know what will happen after that. I kinda just want to have a manual labor job for awhile, go and hang out with people at bars, have a relationship now that I'm not shifting cities, and make music.

Hard to think I actually wanted a Masters, even a Doctoral degree, in history or philosophy no less. God I couldn't stomach that now.

stonie, the newspaper told me today that nanotechnology and biomedical chemistry or engineering or something are the hot new job fields, along with the obvious medical stuff (and does going into a Boomer's house to wipe her ass for her sound like a good job to you?), I think we should become nano-chemists together.

Did you see on last.fm I listened to marillion? I left you a shout but I don't know how often you check that.

This Coltrane album is amazing, I think it has something to do with Coltrane being on it.

Yeah, I want to be able to make music. I doubt nanodickery would leave much time for not being a boring person.

Your musical compatibility with HenryPlainview is Super

Music you have in common includes Marillion, Porcupine Tree, Gong, Yes and IQ.

Why thank you last.fm for your unobfuscated appraisal of our musical compatibility.

I'm also now a low with Folly, lol.

Why would being a nanodick make you boring? You could actually pay for your instruments!

Maybe droll would be a better word. And unrelatable. I'd have to find friends that really like leather chairs and smoking jackets.

And you sir are joking anyway. Neither of us have the ambition or give-a-sh*t-ability to go into stuff like that.

It's funny because we have Porcupine Tree and Albert Ayler in common. LOL

That's true. Avant-garde electronic music has gotten me interested in electronics, but I tried reading about it (there's a massive Navy electrical certification course on the internet) and it's just aaaaaaarrrrrrgh. So I guess I'm back to being a useless English major.
