Not yet.  I almost put it on my last Wayside order but it was getting too big.

Money wasn't the issue so much.  Living in the UK sucks for Wayside orders.

Later mate - I'm out - talk to you tomorrow hopefully, if you're around.

I should be.

I'll be waiting for your thoughts on certain bands and albums. Wink

This album seriously is amazing.

Yes, Canterbury Zeuhl Metal is what it is.

Zeuhl Wortz?

Sort of.

As I said, it's more like post-Zeuhl (One Shot, Speed Limit) with Metal leanings mixed with some more fusiony Canterbury (again, that jazzy sound).

It's an eclectic mix yet not eclectic.

James, I got Baldur's Gate, what should I know before I start? And is there any way to make the opening section less incredibly boring? And where on earth is that damn shop Gorion wants me to go to?

But you're Raff, not the usual riff raff that post in this thread.  Read: RIO/Avant lovers who hate every thing else.
I barely even listen to RIO right now, I'm listening to jazz. ;-)

The shop is right next to you when you start. LOL  Go in and speak to the obese guy behind the desk.

And it's not Gorion who asks you but Firebead (who is in the shop you're looking for).

Oh wait, unless you mean the Friendly Arm Inn.  That's easy to find.  It comes up as a destination on the map when you go off with Gorion.

Advice: play as a fighter, it's easier.  Just roll a Human Fighter.  I usually play as a dwarven fighter but my first ever playthrough about 8 years ago was with a halfling thief character.
However, for more fun in the long run, Mages are good.  You'll struggle early on though.

I talked to him, he told me something about 5000 fee and I told him to go away.

I don't want to be a straight fighter, I think that would be boring. What about a fighter mage or a Paladin? I decided via another thread to be an Undead Slayer Paladin in BG2, but BG1 doesn't have kits and I'm really too lazy to get the BGTutu thing working.

Me too, but right now I'd rather listen to pure jazz.

I use BGTutu.

Best not play BG2 until you've finished BG1.  It's a follow on.  Although it's a different story sort of... albeit related.

Hahahahaha, dude, he's joking about the 5000 price.  You should have pursued the conversation further.

IT'S GONNA BE A GLORIOUS DAY!

I am listening to a Bach concerto and reading about stoicism because I am classy. Stoicism is a fascinating philosophy. And listening to Bernstein conduct Bach is interesting.

Two of my favourite books Clap I read both last summer on my combined sick leave / summer vacation, very quickly and loving every second.

Blah, another work week starting, but only two to go until my holiday.

I underestimated Bach, this is quite good. I wish Gould would play it on the harpsicord instead of showing off with the piano, though, I like harpsicords more.
