I was in an electronics class in high school, I wasn't too good at it.

The funniest thing happened once, I tried changing the tip of a soldering iron when it was on, and when I was screwing it back in it slipped out and I jabbed the iron into my hand. LOL It was cool because my skin made a sizzling sound.

My roommate is an EE major and I would hate to be one.
Most of them have the creative potential of a brick.

I see Zeena Parkins has a new album out. Solo harp...dunno how I'd feel about that, but I 'll probably buy it anyway as I've been meaning to check out more of her stuff.

I'd rather go into marketing then engineering.
You could totally f**k with people that way.

The class I went to was at a tech center, it was amazing how much we got away with in that class. We made radios, and it took about a month of "tuning" them in this enclosed entrance outside the classroom before we were made to go and sit out in the front lounge to continue. LOL I also distinctly remember someone using a jumper made out of copper wire as ammo with a rubber band, that thing could have put an eye out. It was very entertaining because there was a group of stereotypical stoners, almost every day they would eventually start talking about Dragon Ball Z.

Oh sh*t, I just remembered that Bed Bath and Beyond here was hiring (like a week ago, it seemed). What an usually sad coincidence would that be if I started working there (and Henry's not online. Damn.)

I'm pretty sure I read a lot slower than I used it, it's really frustrating. I think the internal error correction in my brain for reading the poor grammar and typing of form posts really screws with actual proof-read literature. Although I'm pretty sure I found an incomplete sentence in my version of The Metamorphosis.

Well, Kafka's German and there are multiple differently translated versions of his texts.  Some are less than superb

No, he was Czech but was a German speaker.

And maybe 30 minutes is a bit quick to read The Metamorphosis but it certainly won't take that long.  I've read it twice, maybe three times and in two different translations.

It's still one of my favourite stories.  How were you disappointed with the ending, Henry?

Maybe it is too happy.

So there are a whole bunch of cheap Mingus albums instore, and a cheap Best of E.S.T. as well.

Apart from Black Saint and the Sinner Lady (which isn't on sale at the moment) can I get some recommendations? Or should I go with E.S.T.

I wouldn't say the ending was necessarily happy.  It depends on which way you interpret it.
