and well, my boys, I've no news on Post-Rock, since I'm deeply into screamo and stoner this month The only one is that CRIPPLIED BLACK PHOENIX albums leaked, they're rather good, though too much PINK FLOYD-influenced Also if you haven't heard THE RIVER RUNS BLACK band, I wholeheartedly recommend you to find it . Post-Black/Post-Metal/Post-Rock, amazing stuff |
THE RIVER RUNS BLACK are amazing,i've listened '' Turn Of The Tides'' album, great music, agressive, melodic, screems from time to time, smoothness, superb. thanx for recomendation

c'mon, what would you expect from a post-rocker, who's deeply into screamo and stoner/sludge now? so, this KROBAK/SOMNOLENT split is a some kind of goodbye to good ol' dayz of post-rocky standards I'll upload it asap, 'coz you guys MUST check SOMNOLENT's song there, it's awesome!

So Cult of Luna's got a live DVD coming out in March, and they didn't play Dim. Is this disappointing to anyone else?

Wait, what, new CoL DVD? Hell, Dim being played or not, that's awesome. But yeah, the lack of Dim sucks.

Yep, it's called "Fire Was Born." Look pretty good overall, lack of Dim is the only major disappointment in the setlist:
Following Betulas
Owlwood
Ghost Trail
Leave Me Here
Österbotten
Finland
Adrift
Eternal Kingdom
Echoes
Dark City, Dead Man
It's a solid set, though I think they could have pulled off at least a two-hour set, where as this is only 90 minutes. Should be good in any case. There's a trailer out around the internet you can check out, too.

Oh dude, it has Dark City, Dead Man and as you said, the set is pretty damn solid. With Dark City, Dead Man, there is no reason to complain about a thing, that song is simply epic.

hey folks , does anyone here listens Drudkh, these guys are great , they are not strict prog sound, more like atmospheric black/folk/prog,but that folkish elements make some cool atmosphere , Blood In Our Wells is damn good album, slights of post rock can be noticed in, also Caina are awesome, more post rockish metal, scream from time to time, hell of a band

DRUDKH are from a next big city to mine (200 miles north from me) yeah, they're amazing.
Didn't like CAINA, but strongly recommend you to check A FOREST OF STARS and ALCEST. One of the best post-black projects/bands ever

Legit statement, just look at my screen name.
Anyways, I was knd of disappointed in the new WitTR, not as vrutal, and a little stagnant. I didnt like how the first song was made up of entirely female vocals. The screaming kinda takes the path Enslaved did (norwegian black metal band) last year; it's over produced, and you cn hear too much of the throaty stuff inside so it doesnt sound as crazy. Their LP comes out in may, maybe we'll see a stronger side of the wolves.
Drudkh is an excellent band, Autumn aroura and Blood in are wells are extremely kickass Black metal albums.
