| To be honest, it was quite discouraging (a lot of the houses we saw were not good at all), but we did find one just outside my hometown that suits us quite nicely (although renovations are yet unfinished). We are waiting to hear back from the real estate man.

Today I am listening to my top albums from 2009 (for no reason other than that I feel like it). I was going to start this journey with my favorite album of 2009, but after reading Connor's review, I can't get this one out of my head. So I'm starting with it:
Really amazing, not-well-known music. This guy deserves to get huge. I had the honour of receiving a copy of this album to review and it is my favorite review CD thus far.

Today I am listening to my top albums of 2009 for no particular reason other than that I want to. So far I've listened to:
Colin Masson - The Mad Monk and the Mountain
Now on to my favorite album from 2009 - by the great Beardfish! I was concerned, after hearing the amazing Sleeping in Traffic series, that this album would be a disappointment. But, just like when they went from SIT1 to SIT2, they did enough new things while retaining their distinctive Beardfishy-ness that this album was both brand new and comfortably familiar. I view is as their most difficult yet complete album to date; bearing in mind I have yet to hear their first two.
