I saw Steve Hillage on the 'Live Herald' tour. Fantastic concert. A really under-rated musician. I love all his work up to 'Open'. I kind of lost touch after that.

I'm surprised no has mentioned "Green" it's my favourite Steve Hillage and has a really nice production sound thanks to Nick Mason. How come Pink Floyd never let him produce an album?

fish rising is on of my favorite albums. It's very spacey and mellow at times, then Hillage explodes into an awesome solo, but never going too far. Dave Stewart on keys is also a huge plus, giving it a slight caterbury sound which I adore. Space rock at it's best, it's a shame Hawkwind were never near as good as this.

The riff from the episode "Hiram Afterglid Meets the Dervish" from the "Solar Music Suite" is one of the best riffs ever.
