It is perhaps related to the screen and text size settings?

I haven't changed any settings on my PC, I also checked Firefox and its the same.Ouch

Thumbs%20DownI don't like it -- it doesn't all fit, and I have to scroll down to login.

It seems the various issues are dependent upon computer age/screen size (?)

Would increasing my display resolution help?Confused

There are two posts of Snow Dog on this page and I see his sig under only one of them (the first post on the page). Strange... Confused

Try pressing CTRL + F5 ... this will force your browser to load the style-sheet from the server. Currently the width of the page content is optimized for 1024x768 screen resolution (with the browser window opened full screen) ... this sucks for people with smaller resolutions like 800x600 (and there are many people who still use this resolution, I know that from the google-analytics statistics). It also sucks for people with bigger displays, they now see the content centered in the screen, with unused space to the left and right. Also most big signatures are now only visible with scroll bars, due to the fixed width display.

Interestingly the post editor also behaves oddly now, at least in Firefox ... as I'm typing this I can only see half of the text that I've written so far, it doesn't wrap anymore.

Very interesting... I posted a thread about the same problem http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=35773) some seven hours before this one, and nobody except for Ivan reacted...
Damn my English, my posts are hardly legible, my thoughts are hardly understood.

Anyway, it's quite a pleasant improvement Thumbs%20Down of the site Broken%20Heart.

Good luck to all of you who doesn't have any problems and doesn't care.

Will it mean "Goodbye, forum" for me?

No problems at all...

The problem is that some (many?) people, my "lucky" self included, can't use the forum pages.

Isn't that a contradiction (or is it an oxymoron)?
If you can't use the forum pages, how did you make that post to say you can't use the forum pages?
LOLConfused
