IM WITH Roj,  ABEL GANZ's SHOOTING ALBATROSS is best CD I've heard this year by a country mile.

Well said Thumbs Up.  Abel Ganz now have 2 nominations.

Now, I must get around to posting a review of Shooting Albatross very soon.

I'll say something that warrants saying.  I've not heard the album Fromuz - Overlook, but what a brilliant cover that has got!  The best I've seen for some time.

^ Glad to hear some love for Fromuz.  Great band maybe the most overlooked prog band around right now.  The cover was done by a friend of mine, Ken Westphal, who also did the two Proto-Kaw covers and put the flames on the bison in my sig.

I also love Karmacanic and Presto ballets releases this year.

OPETH - WATERSHED
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I've heard the mainstream releases this year, Bedlam, Obzen, Watershed, with varying amounts of how much I like them. I'm still holding out to listen to "Traced in Air" soon.

That's the one I pick as album of the year also! For me the second would be Pendragon - Pure.
To be the one who seeks so I may find .. (Metallica)

My thoughts exabsofreakinglutelactly. That doesn't look like a nice word, now does it? It sounded better in my head before I wrote it out... Anyways. Fromuz blew me away with Overlook, and Beardfish is rapidly becoming one of my top bands.

Pendragon - Pure would be the most overrated album of the year imho. :(
