I preferred the other way, and I didn't want to vote for just one song, hence my lack of vote up to this point. But, seeing the spread at this point, I'll give a vote to a gem that hasn't got a vote yet. Problem is there are at least four songs that deserve a vote and I can only give one:
Deliverance
Windowpane
Moonlpase Vertigo
Hessian Peel
OK I'll just give my vote to Deliverance.
Also, though I definitely don't agree with the majority here, I'm pretty darn sure the most popular Opeth track is the "The Drapery Falls."

I also preferred the other method, but it didn't prove popular enough and I couldn't grab enough votes to draw an average enough conclusion from it. It was much fairer that way, but still... what can you do?

Ooohh ... what a terribly difficult question to ask ... Every album they release I get a new favorite ... Well, if I have to choose itīs either Baying of the Hounds or the Lotus Eaters ... damn ...
No, itīs gotta be Baying of the hounds for me.

With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.
