Because you weren't here in 2006: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=23635.

And apparently my story back then was...

BTW, if this were a poll for favorite name I'd vote for "A Person".  Cool

You're not the first one to assume that, and probably not the last.  I hadn't even heard of the album when I was first asked.

Of course, I'm bad about making assumptions.

I owe poor Pekka an apology.  Ouch

Well, of course I am a big fan the Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy.  I've always loved to try and get it as a user name or screen name.  Often someone else has already claimed it so I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get it here.  One variation that never seems to be claimed as a username is Slartbartfaster.  Also the e-mail address I've been using for many years is slartiba@...  No I'm not revealing the domain I already get waaay too much junk in that one now.  LOL   Plus I often have long hair and beard.  I've never designed an fjords, by the way, in case anyone wants to know.  I'm not entirely sure what I would have picked for here if it had been taken.  Maybe Ford Prefect.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Okay - my nickname refers to something clerical ... Censored ... it's evident ... isn't it?

By the way - I also find bands like Porcupine Tree and Riverside quite genre influential Wink
