Me: somethings by Gorguts ... I think.

The vocals man, so awful.

The vocals to Proclamation? I agree they sound terrible. That would be the song I would play to people if I were trying to put them off prog rock forever.
Awful??? NOOOOOOO....

BTW one of my favorite GG moments is at that 2 minute mark when the music shifts away...so beautiful.

*Brian Eno - The Fat Lady of Limbourg

Have always been uncomfortable with the music, feels like a bad acid trip.

*Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine

Oppressive Orwellian ambience, very effective.

*Richard Thompson - Do You Like The New Me

Plain creepy!

Uneasy? Ok, but in a good way it would be SAVIOUR MACHINE's THE COVENANT and ICED EARTH HIGH WATER MARK.

Very intense subject matter. It makes you think why as human being can we be so horrible to one another. Uneasy feeling indeed.

Also. On a lighter note. Peaceful easy feeling by the EAGLES. I HATE THE FREAKIN EAGLES!!! Play that around me and it will bring out the psychopath in me. Lol
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

I don't. Breakfast of champions.

Don't get me wrong. I mean that in a good way. Sometimes being assaulted is fun (at least in music).

I like strange stuff like most of us, but:

Pink Floyd's Interstellar Overdrive makes me feel very uncomfortable, like I'm trapped inside Syd Barrett's mind and I can't get out.

Also, most of the things on In The Court of the Crimson King. As much as I hail the album as a milestone, Peter Sinfield's lyrics really weird me out.

Life on Mars is disturbing if you take in the words properly; for out and out truth of  life chill  I'd choose Clockwork Soldier by Clouds.
