Ghostland Observatory: Prince-like funk and Roger Waters-style lasers combine with this Austin, Texas, duo. Beat man Thomas Ross Turner is tough to miss; he'll be the one wearing a cape. (11 p.m. Sunday, Red Bull Music Academy Stage)

I don't think I've heard of any of those, but I'm sure it would be cool.

I seriously need to check out more of his solo stuff though.  So far I've heard Chameleon, Silent Corner, and Thin Air.  Which should I get next?

The only I've got you didn't mention is In Camera. A solid 5 star album to me, easily on par with some of VDGG's best.

Okay, I'll get those two.  I love the song "Gog," so In Camera is probably a must for me.

I'm good.  I've moved out of my folks place now. Big smile

I'm very much the same person though, unfortunately. LOL

I need to go to Paris... I wish I had a passport.  Magma are playing at Le Triton in June and I would love to attend. Big smile

Singularity is pretty good too, as is the one before it.  Thin Air (which you have) is excellent as well, of course.

There's some amazing invidual songs on later albums, such as Like Veronica, Flight, Primo on the Parapet, Bubble and Easy to Slip Away.

Oh and then there's A Louse Is Not A Home but you have that already... forget which album it's one though.

It's on Silent Corner.  It's an excellent track; comparable to the best VDGG epics.

PH uses the harmonium a lot on Usher doesn't he? I loved that on Gog Magog. It's a shame that such a highly regarded album is so hard to find.

Oh well...

I prefer (In The) Black Room/Tower. Not only comparable to the best VDGG epics, but it even surpasses most of them imo.

In Camera has one of my favourite tunes on it.

(No More) the Sub-Mariner

Gorgeous!
