It's on Silent Corner.  It's an excellent track; comparable to the best VDGG epics.

I prefer (In The) Black Room/Tower. Not only comparable to the best VDGG epics, but it even surpasses most of them imo.

Must hear that.

Yes you should. Miraculously, there's a youtube clip of it!
The "Thunder" in the title makes no sense though.

Yeah, I loved that on Gog.  My favorite Hammill song I've heard would have to be "(In The) Black Room."  Such an emotional journey.

Haha, The Sleepwalker posted that video while I was typing this.LOL

(No More) the Sub-Mariner

Gorgeous!

That's a lovely one, though probably my least favorite of that album. I really like the synths though, definitely when they get close to being over the top like on Faint-Heart And the Sermon (Heart).

(No More) the Sub-Mariner used to be streamed here on P.A. and I presume it still is.  Check it out.

And as I said just now: I prefer A Louse is Not a Home over (In the) Black Room/The Tower.  That ending is perfect!

Besides...

Maybe I should de-louse this place,
maybe I should de-place this louse,
maybe I'll maybe my life away
in the confines of this silent house.

I love that verse.

(No More) The Sub-Mariner kind of makes more sense if you're English, to be honest.

Unless you know about Stirling Moss, Douglas Bader, Peter May and Victor Mature.

Is it just me, or does this thread often inspire you to go out and spend all your money? LOL

True that!  Hammill is a master of epic climaxes.

Yeah, that ending is fantastic. I really, really like the sped up drums in there.

Also, time for Chameleon In The Shadow of The Night.

I don't.

I don't have VdGG's The Box.  I don't have the DVDs...

There's plenty of stuff for me to get.  I have most Hammill solo albums but not all yet.

I wonder if there is anyone who has every single Hammill-related item ever.  I'll think I might make that my life goal, so I can be king of the Hammill/VDGG fanboys (and girls counting the Baldies.)

Have fun.

That's pretty ambitious, my goal is to own more CDs than I can fit in a shopping bag. LOL

I love how Chameleon is mostly just PH and his guitar/piano and it's just as powerful as any much more bombastic album.

Bye James.

Hah!  I can already do that.

As for my Hammill goal, I still have quite a few years ahead of me, so it seems pretty reasonable.

At the current rate, it will take me until I'm about 30.

Yeah, it seems like such a personal album.  I really love the cover with Hammill and his guitar in a field; so beautiful.
