Those are the best nights though, I find.  Clubs can be fun but they tend not to have the intimacy that having friends over has.

I wish more people would come over my place.  Damn.

I'm still not happy.  My mate who I was hoping would be out last night didn't make it.  Her mate hasn't heard from her either.  Hmm.

In fact, I'm fairly sure I got no delivery report.  I hope she's all right.

Still, I met some new people, so that was cool.

I thought the drinking age was 18 in Canada?

You're not missing out on much, to be honest.  However, most people seem to go clubbing nowadays.  I don't understand it.  It costs money, everyone is horny and drunk and people always seem to end up having fights over women.

It is in some parts, but in BC it is 19.

Oh I see.  That's not any fun then.  It's 18 over here in the UK and has been for what seems an eternity.

Weirdly though, you can learn to drive in the US at 16, whilst over here it's at 17.

So apart from Porcupine Tree, who else do you like musically?  I'm guaranteed to not like many of them though, sorry!
