omg nobody has said Ambrosia yet?
Alan Parsons is great, especially... Most post rock works, even Mars Volta (but Sigur, omg the best).
ELP has some songs that are spectacular for the right sexual moods (ala: Still you turn me on) Even some Strawbs here and there.
WEATHER REPORT
And um, that other prog artist, what's his name, uh... Barry White....

It's the same guy. Great minds think alike.

Hmmmm a thread about sex thats sure to stick around for awhile ... lame yes ... pointless yes ... progressive hardly Take it from me a guy that gets his share of sex, don`t read about it just go and do it music and sex is a pointless task because if the sex is that good you wont even hear the music .. trust me but don`t take my word for it let some dork tell you how "pink floyd" gives great orgasms.

To be honest I can't think of anything prog that is a big turn-on for me. However... two non-prog tracks both very dissimilar are biggies for interesting sex :
- Nine Inch Nails - Closer
- Sade - Cherish
hem hem *cough* etc

P.S.: I said 'yearly' not 'early'...

Hahahhaaahhah! Oh god, that would be some sick sh*t. At
first you would have real aggressive sex... and then you would stop,
sit around, and wonder just what the HELL is going on in that
music. But, no lie. I do love me some Ruins.

My personal favorites are:
Light of Day, Day of Darkness - Green Carnation Mei - Echolyn
My only problem with them is that they are too short.

I guess it was inevitable, but there are several mentions of Floyd's "The Great Gig In The Sky".
Can anyone seriously tell me that they have persuaded a good (or bad)
woman to have carnal relations with them, to the sound of another woman
wailing away like a demented cat, over one of the most melancholy tunes
ever made?! If so was she deaf?!? If this is your idea of how to
achieve success with the other sex folks I think you're kidding
yourselves!!!!
Of course if anyone can honestly lay claim to have achieved this then I am in admiration....

I know this is a very odd choice, but Jean and I prefer "Chromengel" from Klaus Schulze's "Cyborg".

I don't even dream of drone music turning me on.
Plus that,as a Schulze fan-boy,my mind would totally slip sex and focus on Schulze.

Well, it is the ideal music to be very tender and loving to. And since we are both women we definitely take our time. Nothing like "30 seconds of bumping, and that was it". We are very very slow when making love.
