until now, I haven't heard a single 2007 recording....Embarrassed

...I've been far too busy buying certain band's back catalogues (rather cheaply I might add)...Wink
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

It's quite good, but you might not label it as prog. FoaBP gets my vote so far as the best, though Devin Townsend's Ziltoid the Omniscient gives it a run for its money.

2.  Do Make Say Think - You, You're a History in Rust
3.  Omar Rodriguez-Lopez - Se Dice Bisonte, No Búfalo
4.  Hella - There's No 666 in Outer Space
5.  Van der Graaf Generator - Real Time

The New Hella was kinda of a dissapointment. I miss 2-piece Hella!
all the other albums you´ve posted are excellent IMO

If you mean Suma's Let The Churches Burn then I have it. Good Doom Metal album, although I still need more listens.

"Three Seats" is actually from 2006, but wow! This is fantastic! I'm listening right now. Those Polish guys know how to do it right.

Erik, you've done it again. Thanks for another great pick.

Well Bhikkhu, the problem with some albums is when you can purchase it, like with the new Nexus and now with the new Osada Vida, both released in 2006 (you are right about that Embarrassed ) but despite the fact that Hans from Progwalhalla is able to order these albums as soon as possible he couldn't order both Nexus as Osada Vida new albums no earlier than in 2007.

About the new Osada Vida album Three Seats Behind A Triangle: I am glad that you share my enthousiasm and I hope more will do this, what a mindblowing musical experience Thumbs%20Up

That's ok...I'm not terribly crazy about over-labelling anyway.  Wink

I picked up the Katatonia only just recently via a recommendation. The version I have is the dvd-audio / cd which is marked as 2007.

The dvd-audio disc is just perfect as you would expect. Smile

For me Salle Gaveau has it clear cut with their debt album Alloy. I will be adding these guys to the archives soon.

Compared with others opinion I was actually quite disappointed with Grayceon's s/t. Though I will give it more chances.

I'm quite excited about may non prog release, coming up soon.

If no one has mentioned it yet, the Planet X record "Quantum" released this year is very good, continues the excellent work that was found on "Moonbabies".
