Weather was very good for music today. I was rocking out to Thrice with the windows down.
Word?
Yeah man, even at 11 at night it was beautiful. So while I was stuck inside all damn day, at least there's that. Better than last time when I'd leave and it was cold and 50%+ chance of snowing...
Edit: Ah nice Jordan. I did that a few days ago, but it was 70 today...so Floyd was much more fitting.

True dat is.
It was dark, rainy, and cold this morning and I listened to Panopticon...
Needless to say, it was an amazing experience.
The dynamics in that album are some of the greatest I've ever heard.... the nuances are brilliant.
That album literally changed my life, there is a story behind that but I don't feel like going into it right now, but it's always going to hold an elevated place in my heart.
I do lol at work, where its almost all rap and pop, (and some mellow/indie rock) when people inquire into my ipod and they hear my post metal or 30+ minute songs.

That's when they realize their music library is utter sh*t...

My fav moment was when this guy went to his bud and said "dude listen to this beat, its dope"
"Ah yeah it is, but man! That is a long ass song"
It was 9 minutes long lolololol
Also, I know not everyone is into all our stuff...but I've never seen anyone so far disconnected. A few people have never ever heard of Pink Floyd. When I said "a band from the 60's and 70's" a response was: Man, what the hell? You are 22 years old....
I mention instrumental rock.."what? You mean no words? No way man, I need words" And this poor soul didn't WANT to listen to anything else. "I dont like trying new things" Talk about culture shock. I wonder if this is extreme or are most people like this!?

9 minutes of just a beat would be probably way too long, unless it was Dälek
