Daughter starts 1st grade on Monday.  She was kinda scared, until yesterday when she met her teacher and really likes her.
Passed up a chance this weekend to visit a friend in Asheville to catch a Grandmothers show (consisting of guys who used to play in the Mothers, Zappa's old band).  My friend knows or has played with all of them (in fact, he's the leader of a Zappa tribute band), and I could have hung out with some Zappa alumni.  But it's a 3 hour drive and I have responsibilities at home.  I could have swung it, but it would have meant a lot of running around and not much sleep.

A Ferry Bueller day off would be Super in this situation, hum?

So how is the weather on the other side of our great state?  Has the rain "left the building"?

It's been raining all day but I think it's recently stopped. Nice and chilly today.

Nope, still sprinkling.

It was raining here earlier today, but it is just cloudy and overcast now.  I have an outdoor wedding to attend tomorrow.  Not quite sure what to expect.  Some things show rain for tomorrow and some show that the rain is only in the morning and supposed to be clear in the afternoon.
