I have also be going through some of my favorite Schulze since his passing (and some things I never listened to) and have been enjoying it. He was quite excellent. Even in his sampling phase, when the sounds and timbres were less than stellar, the music underneath was still pretty solid at worst (at least of the stuff I've heard).

Well that is gasp worthy. Out of curiosity, which of the 70s albums that don't float your banana hammock? 

As for later albums...have you ventured into the 80s at all? Because ...Live... and Audenity are definite must hears IMO. (Trancefer is nice too, but missing a little something to elevate it for me) Both Moonlake and Continuum are definitely worth a listen as well. 

But yes...The La Vie Electronique albums are pure jewels, especially those that correlate to the 70s works (Which is Vol. 1-7, with some spillover on 8). But even the latter entries are worth it, if you can tolerate some unfortunate sound choices. 
from the 70s stuff it was mainly Booty Love that didn't love my booty, possibly also Picky Music
I'm not sure if I've heard any of the 80s stuff, but this sounds like a solid starter pack

I quite like Buttstuff Mansion...err I mean Body Love. I have always wanted to see the movie, not just for the titties and butts, but to see how that could possibly fit into an adult film. I also like drums with electronics, so that integration just adds an extra layer of yay for me. Blackdance & Picutre music would probably be at the bottom of those early albums for me, but moreso on the strengh of the others than any particular weakness of those two outright. 

But then again, I love all of those first 10 albums. Even if he made nothing else in his career, this would be a huge musical legacy imo.
