Which album is Sparks of the Tempest from? I don't recognize the song title. | Well, it's from Point of Know Return, but the spooky version I'm referring to is on the 2CD version of Two for the Show. Ditto Magnum Opus.

Perhaps a reply only rule would be a good idea, if your post count is < x, then no starting polls/threads.

Damn David, from The Decemberists's debut to Between the Buried and Me...that's quite a shift!

It is , but most of the time I don't listen to the same artist for more than 1 album in a row, so I will jump all over the place. And get weird combos like that.

Screw it, I'm just listening to whatever. Will listen to some spooky-ish music off and on though.

| I'm like that. I'm not like Scott who can do marathons every day. Once I listen to a band, that's it. I don't care what band, I rarely listen to two of their albums in a row.
That's why double albums are generally difficult for me to handle.

I forsee The Great Misdirect's overall rating to eventually fall in between 3.70 and 4.20. At best it will be a bit higher than Colors on this site mehthinks.
I would also be surprised if BtBaM ever makes an album that I can't like. Although I don't want to speak too soon. <.< >.>

Happy Halloween, Pat! @Robert: I know what you mean. I think the only double album out there I can honestly listen to all the way through at once is Spock Beard's Snow. Most double albums have too much filler for my tastes, but that one is a damn good double-LP.
