 Finally gotten my hand on the last couple YOB albums, so I'm giving this another couple spins to re-familiarize myself with the group. It's fantastic how dense their soundscapes are despite being just a power trio, even that's before taking into account how every new attentive listen reveals new details in the song structures.

 One of the few psychedelic doom metal groups it feels like the most genuinely spiritual experiences to listen to. They did get me interested in the philosophical and religious writings of Alan Watts, after all...
