VdGG has been accounted for in an earlier post. Gentle Giant? Martin Smith, the drummer on their first two albums, had died in 1997.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how long Potter was in VDGG, since he's on the third album I think that's right. I'd say Weathers is the classic era GG drummer of renown, I'm no expert though.

Nothing wrong with being mad.
Owned Duke on cassette, LP, and CD. Great album.

Unfortunately for Duke, the album would now need three first place votes just to make it back into the bottom end of the Top 7 again. Ouch

I don't mind A Trick of the Tail climbing up the charts, but #3, ahead of Nursery Cryme? I didn't see it coming.
In any case, I'm surprised ATOTT still didn't earn a spot in TOP 20 songs project, while W&W (lower rated according to your poll) gets votes on a regular basis. Something iffy going on there! Clown

All of the Genesis albums in the final Top 7 are 5-star albums for me. Thumbs Up

That's where we differ Smile I gave Lamb a 4, it's a bit short of true masterpiece, and still leagues more interesting than wimpy W&W

^ At least no one voted for Calling All Stations in their Top 7, and even if they had done, I wouldn't be sure if they were only voting for the album for the comedy value. Smile

The one thing I remember about Calling All Stations is all of the songs on the album are very unmemorable. Smile
