This was a very badly justified vote. Thumbs Down

I wouldn't say that. It's logical and i understand. Tongue

Here I naively thought all the voters would express an opinion. I always do that...

Some people would rather avoid the controversy that surrounds writing a comment! LOLWink

what would be the controversy here? Confused

Some forum members just feel that justifying their choices can become too much like hard work... Embarrassed

I haven't asked for a reason for the chosen band. That's optional, but I was hoping voters would post the name of the bands.

I got one. Maybe Opeth is awesome! EmbarrassedLOL

Well, my fave Prog Metal bands have more or less always been Threshold and Vanden Plas, because they are intensely melodic, interplay light and shade and use virtuosic technicality very sparingly. Yes, Threshold are a Prog Metal band, but in my mind, they are actually Heavy UK-style Neo-Prog, because their song structures seem to come from that school... Vanden Plas? They have the most talented, original and stable group of musicians imaginable... with Andy Kuntz as front man. 'Nuff said in my view.. Cool

Having to choose between Pain of Salvation, Opeth, and Haken is impossible, but Pain of Salvation has no votes right now, which must be rectified.
I use they/them pronouns (feel free to ask me about this!)

Check out my music on my bandcamp!
