I can't stand drum machines!

Not an instrument but I really don't like some of the modern keys sounds I hear, like on DT or Spock's Beard albums. Another thing is I generally don't like nasal sound for instruments, but I'm digressing.

Listen to Seven Reizh, you will have a different conception of bagpipes :

That sounded OK, but it was an unusually high pitched bagpipes, and very sparingly used.

you really need some Mark O'Connor :

I'm not keen on this folk music style, but an orchestra can definitely add new atmosphere to a song, as with this sample based composition by The Young Gods.

Least favorite would probably be violins and violas. (Obviously it could be used well but still...) Cello and double basses are alright though.

Used to not be a fan of most brass instruments (esp trombones) but I've grown fonder of them over time. And I quite like the idea of a bass trombone.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

The bashing mechanical drum sound is a key element for Godflesh, real drumming wouldn't be brutal enough.

I have a problem with soprano sax too...kind of bothering...

So you don't like A Passion Play?

I don't remember the sax being in it. Maybe it was in part 2, I've heard more of part 1 for some reason.

I love oboe though!

The Trombone, when played correctly, sounds motherflippin beautiful; Unfortunately, from my experience, it's quite hard to play and typically people butcher the instrument. A good a trombone I like, a bad one is probably one of my least favourite sounding instruments.

Soprano Sax is my favourite type of Sax. I really like that smooth, slick sound tone it provides.
