We can only hope O will be our leader for a long time--  heck even his "drop in poll numbers" this week due to "gas prices" is bogus.   It's all nonsense, whether they're for him or against him.

I would point out the hypocrisy of claiming to represent "less government" when a lot of the GOP supports all these contraception rules and bans. Because that's certainly not a huge encroachment on your personal life or anything!

Also I get more horrified every say  Santorum has found this much support. He's not only so crazy but just seems to keep saying things that shoot himself in the foot!

oh and Romney kept his dog in a crate on top of his car for a 12 hour ride. Has nothing to do with politics but it is kind of weird and where perception is everything...last thing he needs is more proof that he's cold, unfeeling and out of touch. Nothing has gone right with that guyLOL

It's true they need to get with the times like the Democrats!
They keep the American dream alive for rich people regardless of color!

Granted it IS an improvement over the GOP...just ya know, maybe one day the Dems will want to help the middle and working classes.
To think I used to honestly believe that was the case.

^ of course, even on things Dems know are tenuous at best and unconstitutional at worst, like overly restrictive gun laws or limiting the President's ability to use the military.

I was researching delegate counts this afternoon.

Does anyone think we will see a brokered convention?

Not really, Santorum will eventually hand all his delegates over to Romney like the good little neocon team player he is.

But Santorum doesn't have that power (properly speaking).  If he dropped out, the bound delegates would be "free" to vote for whomever they wanted.

Unless Santorum's delegates are stealth Paul supporters they will almost certainly move over to Romney when Santo endorses him, bound or not.

I've been wondering the same.
I don't see any way Romney could win outright (nor anyone) and I thought that's been the question...what exactly is Rick and Newt trying to accomplish? Try to have some sway over Mitt? Force a VP pick?
Or compromise candidate selection for Ron PaulLOLCool

I think we'll see it occur, but it will resolve itself. I doubt any of Santorum's freed delegates hop onto Ron's side.

Yeah ultimately it all will cave and support Romney, not sure what else they could do (or should say would do).
ha! Yeah, Paul and Santorum are pretty much polar opposites in every way, but a few will jump I bet solely to keep sticking it to Romney. Not many at all of course.
