Hey Mike, What is up with your movie that you were making? I probably need to get with the program but has it been released and played the theater circuit yet?

You bet! Simply awesome! My fave tracks are the title track and Two Blocks from the Edge, while the poppish Let In Hollywood, is really good for it's length. The last 2 tracks don't do it much for me, not bad, but a bit uneven for the album, IMO. What do you think?

Anyway, gents, must sleep. See you all later.
@James, Veracious is amazing, I agree. Shingle Song was probably the most obvious highlight for me, but that's just because I know it really well, and I'm a sap.

Oh wait, that would be if you drove a Red Barchetta. My mistake. |

Good night Rob! ....back to Mike's review....: damn you Mike! I can't do a review for it now! They're entirely MY thoughts! You stole them from me! How?? I don't know, but you did! Nice review btw, well you should already noticed that I meant that, I mean, if you have my thoughts, and btw expressed them very well, how can you go wrong with me?

Like Veronica is my favourite. Bubble is also wonderful. As is Primo on the Parapet and Easy to Slip Away. Wonderful stuff. I've yet to hear the original studio version of Like Veronica though.

My little indie number hasn't gone anywhere yet. The first (and only showing so far) was to a small panel of industry pros who gave their input. I've spent the last 3 months recutting the short and it's with my color correction guy once more who is putting the final touch on the picture. After that we go to my sound guy, re-record EVERY line of dialog, replace all the sounds (Foley) and then readd the soundtrack. Probably the only thing sound wise that will stick around at this point is the Spock's Beard music. Glad someone still cares though! After it's been overhauled we'll start looking at the festival circuit, but it may be too late for the '09 shows.
