How does Alex know what these flags are?

I memorized nearly all of the nation's flags and capitals when I was really young, because I liked that stuff.
I don't know as much as I used to, but I try.
|
I have a World Atlas (a really old Heinemann one) and the centre spread is the flags of the world. So I know a lot of them too. I used to look at that atlas a lot.
That's awesome.
I really need to do that soon. It's been a while.
The world has changed a lot though since then.
It has. I'm sure some things have changed since I was originally looking at all of them.

It's funny too. I could post here more often and I'm trying to keep up right now because I have 2 AIM chatrooms and another conversation.

It's a terrible flag, i must say.
Anyhow, it's a small place and the Russians aren't overly keen on it being there.
Edit: it didn't exist when Alex was 3

Georgia has existed on and off for years and may have existed when Alex was 3... not sure. This is much smaller.

The Stans are mostly part of the former Yugoslavia. So no.

What about Kazakhstan, and all those? Those are "stan" places and they aren't in former Yugoslavia.

They're more linked to Turkey and the Middle East.
