Jenson says it all better in 5 minutes than Seb does in 13 minutes.

Indeed. I did enjoy Seb though. I just preferred Jens.
Plus he had a nice dig at Sky.

Seb is a massive Monty Python and British humour DVD collector. Something that shines through a lot. He is like Schumi with humour.
He is a great ambassador for Germany here in the UK at least. A German so dialled into the UK cultural heritage and mentality that we here in the UK regard him as strange, if not a downright loony.

I just remember seeing one of those pre race shows and they were talking about the giant, lavish parties often thrown on race weekend, with models and liquor flowing and how Vettel was just kind of quiet and really didn't like the crazy parties and all that. I really liked that, and he seems like a down to earth, cool guy. Also DAT JENSON ACCENT < 3 I did enjoy both of those vids, and I can't speak to what the British mentality is but I did like Vettel's almost undetectable humor All the talk about depressing and painful Finns just reminded me Kimi will be back! That lovable b*****d

Oh, and back to James yeah no knock on Webber, (especially as a driver I really liked) but given his results and age...well it was a good ride, wouldn't mind if someone else got to have the seat. Though I don't expect that in '12 at all.

Sebastian Vettel's speach was genuine hilarious funny and so British. If he continues like this, we will soon adopt him as a long lost son. I cannot see him living in Germany anyway. His retirement will be spent somewhere in a village down in England together with likeminded quirky people. Remember, this is the guy who won a F1 race in a Minardi/Torro Rosso. Just to celebrate that miracle, he went on a caravan holiday in Finland together with his girlfriend. I am seriously trying to come up with one good reason for going on caravaning in Finland. I cannot find one. Feel free to help me out. Sebastian Vettel is one of a kind, that's for sure.

He has a girlfriend?
I thought he was in a civil partnership with Christian Horner. I'm disappointed!

Hey Torodd I've loved Sebastian ever since he's entered F1. It's why I'm OK with his dominance You guys can never adopt him though because James would move from the country. You guys do know how I love Finland, without any real explanation and never being there, maybe I also possess this unusual British nature? He is indeed a beast as well as cool guy, I forgot about that win he had in Toro Rosso. While it was derived from Minardi, TR has been better than Minardi ever was to be fair.

I gather Red Bull and Ferrari have both left FOTA.
Does this have any future significance?

^Yes, as far as the teams trying to get more money out of Bernie, they are all well and truly f**ked.

My mate was saying it was also likely due to possible issues with Ferrari and Red Bull's wings and some other things as well (forget what he said now!).

I've remembered what it was now.
There's rumours about Red Bull and Ferrari overspending, hence why they'd want out of FOTA. They can dominate even more next season now.
And Peter Gethin has passed away. Sad news indeed.

Ferrari needs to cut Alonso's paycheck and build a better car.

They need to play by the rules, get rid of Alonso and Massa and start again.
That's just my opinion though, of course.

At least Alonso has talent. Massa only knows how to run into Hamilton and throw hissy fits.

It doesn't matter who Ferrari have as a driver, I doubt I'd like them any more than I currently do.

There's been a lot of rumours that Red Bull have been bracking the Resource Restriction Agreement, plus they're very close to Bernie, which is probably why they left FOTA.
Ferrari seem to have some differences of opinion about how a new agreement can be implemented and, in particular, how it can be enforced, they're not happy that RBR seem to be geting away with breaking the agreement. Some of the other teams seem to think theres a decent chance Ferrari could return in short order (officially neither team is out yet, they have to serve a two month notice, but RBR seem to be gone for good).

Andy, I read something yesterday and it's just a rumour but was curious as to whether you'd heard it too?
Someone said that Red Bull's KERS is always charging and thus it gives them an extra boost all the time and this is also why they're able to put in such fast qualifying times on the last lap.
Is there anything in this?
