Bush is just so original, easily my favourite female musical artist. I don't know much about Windmill, I have a few of their songs on some of the free Prognosis cd's from Prog Magazine, wikipedia says they're indie-pop, but they sound proggy to me. I seen War of the Worlds live a few months back, incredible show especially Heyward. Not heard Blood Sweat and Tears, I do like Satie though.

Can't wait to here Bush, but have you heard Sarah Brightman? Besides also being eye candy, her vocals absolutely floor me "Time to Say Goodbye" and "My Heart Will Go On (from Titanic) crushes Celine Dion. The BS&T 1st has Spinning Wheel, And When I Die and You've Made Me So Very Happy, as well as Some impressive instrumental tracks. I'd seek it out. Hope to see your Feb shuffle in Feb!

Well, there it is. (Amadeus)

This seems like a really fun idea, so I'm going to do it too! This is from my itunes library which has a little over 7500 songs.

1. Move Over I'm Driving- Frogg Cafe (haven't heard this album much since I got it, but this song sounds really cool! A very jazzy instrumental with horns. I'm digging it) 4/5
2. Revelations- Aina (Wow, I haven't heard this is a long time. A really cool metal concept album. A nice introductory track to the album) 3.5/5
3. While My Guitar Gently Weeps- The Beatles (A Beatles classic, one of my favorite Beatles songs, in fact.) 5/5
4. Stupid Girl- The Flower Kings (While I love the Flower Kings to death, this is one of my least favorite songs of theirs. Funny enough is has a psychedelic Beatles type sound to it. Good, but not great) 3/5
5. Who Do You Think You Are?- Gentle Giant (Yes, this is after their best period, but this is a super fun song that is really fun to listen to) 3/5
6. You Are Good- Neal Morse (This is one of Neal's worship songs. I love Neal, but this song is a little boring for my taste) 2/5
7. Panic Room- Riverside (Love Riverside, but this song is a little too monotonous and droning for my taste. I like it more in context of the album it is on rather than by itself) 2.5/5
8. A Room With A View- The Flower Kings (A very pleasant sounding, short instrumental piece for keyboards from Stardust We Are. Very nice) 3/5
9. Fun- Kevin Gilbert (This song somehow manages to be funny and depressing at the same time. Kevin Gilbert clearly was a genius) 2.5/5
10. Standing Ground- Enchant (I used to really love this band, but have kind of grown out of love with them unfortunately. This tune is fine, but nothing really overly special. Although, now that I'm listening to it, it is better than I remember! I just bumped up the original rating I gave it by a full point) 3/5
11. Proclamation- Gentle Giant (Now we're talking! This is one of my all-time favorite songs! Complex, jazzy, groovy. I just can never get enough of it. This is clearly a band at the top of their game) 5/5
12. One Of Us- Cast of Glee (Ha ha, one of my guilty pleasures. I love the show Glee and my sister got me the soundtrack for Christmas. I actually enjoy this music quite a bit) 3/5
13. With Honor- Shadow Gallery (I don't listen to this band much, but I really like this album "Digital Ghosts". This is a really cool song with some great vocal harmonies and heavy guitar riffs. Very enjoyable!) 4/5
14. One Way Town- 3 (I really love this band. They have a cool funky hard rock sound. This is a great track by them. Fun and catchy) 4/5
15. I Am The Walrus- Yellow Matter Custard (I get to see this band perform in Long Beach next month! I think they are a wonderful Beatles cover band featuring two of my favorite musicians: Neal Morse and Mike Portnoy. I love it) 3.5/5
16. He Knows You Know- Marillion (I have struggled the past few years with this band. Part of me likes them, part of me thinks they are boring. But, this is from one of their better albums from the Fish period. Good track) 3/5
17. Fun It- Queen (One of my least favorite Queen songs, but there is still a sort of fun charm to it. An enjoyable listen, but not much more) 2.5/5
18. Don't Take Me Alive- Steely Dan (I really love this band, and this track comes from my favorite album of theirs: "Royal Scam". A great beat and great jazzy guitar. I love songs that are cool and have a great groove to them) 4/5
19. Til There Was You- The Beatles (A really nice early Beatles tune. It evokes memories of my childhood) 3/5
20. Another Won (Live)- Dream Theater (Here we go, one of my favorite bands playing an earlier track from their career. I really like this tune, and it is fairly new to me, so it is not as overplayed on my itunes. A great performance and great little hard rocking track) 4/5
21. The Night Comes Down- Queen (A very early Queen track from their first record. Pleasant, but doesn't quite reach the heights of their best material) 2.5/5
22. The Three Fates- Emerson, Lake & Palmer (This is from their debut album. Very classically influenced; I love the extravagance of the playing by Emerson. They were often over the top, but I think that is part of the charm. Great track) 4/5
23. In Too Deep- James LaBrie (I love James LaBrie, but this track is perhaps a little too heavy for my tastes) 2/5
24. Canto III: The Visions Of Eternity- The Psychedelic Ensemble (This is a very quirky prog track from a 2010 album I just recently bought. I still don't know what I really think of this album since I've only heard it once, but this song is a lot of fun) 3.5/5
25. Serve You In The Fire- Neal Morse (Another Neal Morse worship song, but one of his better ones. This is a really fun, catchy song. I like it a lot) 4/5

Although this isn't the best selection of songs my itunes could possibly come up with, it was still a lot of fun putting the list together! I'll probably do this again soon!

I noticed you consider LotIW by MoTW as a track that still needed more time with you. Give it that and the whole album, too! It's a masterpiece IMO.

will do! actually that album is my first exposure to MoTW, although ive been a Kayo Dot fan for years. So far i'm enjoying it but for me its not as immediately attractive as Kayo Dot was at first listen. I have a feeling it will be a grower.

What MoTW should I try next?
