I have a copy of my terabyte at home and one at work, but on my tablet I carry only 32gb. Currently I have some classics likw Pink Floyd, Camel and Renaissance and Kayak, some avant like Art Zoyd, Univers Zero, Nichelodeon, some oldies like Wishbone Ash and Blue Oyster Cult, then some Zeuhl Magma and Eros, some mixed things like After Crying, Hostsonaten, Area, but one it the bands I'm listening to more often is 1974. I jope to see them soon on PA. Oh, I was forgetting Ataraxia. A band impossible to assign to a genre.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

It's Android. I have more than one 32gb microSD but I can only load one at a time. I walk 6km every day plus about 30 minutes by train to go to work and I have two small mp3 readers with me in case a battery expires☺

Ain't that the truthClap I wouldn't have listened to a quarter of the bands I checked out for the AOTY list, if I didn't use Spotify.
Then again, it has cost me quite a slab of dough too... "Wow that sounds awesome!!!! Now where can I get myself a copy?"LOL

no music at all for a ringtone - but as far as stored music goes:

VDGG - World Record
Goblin - the fantastic voyage

that's about it - unless you want to include band on the run and night at the opera

I have tons on my iPhone and I believe it takes up much more space than anything else. I keep full Cds of my newer purchases and mostly random selections from the rest of my collection.

Currently, Anathema (WHBWH), Cynic (TIA) DT's discography, Edison's Children (TFBBN), Evergrey HFTB). Haken (TM), IQ (TROB), Karnivool ((SA), Pain of Salvation ((Be), Porcupine Tree ((FOABP), most of Queensrych'es discography, most of Radiohead's Discography, Riverside (ADHD and SONGS), most of Supertramp's Discography, tool's Discography, Vanden Plas (COTIN and TGT),  and Yes (CTTE, GFTO, and TYA).

For a change of pace  there's still Jack White, Mother Mother (A local indie rock band - very cool), the Rocky Horror soundtrack and the odd disco/funk single.  Tongue
More heavy prog, please!

I use a 128 Gb iPhone loaded with about 90 Gb of prog and jazz. If Apple every comes out with 256 Gb phone, I'll be able to tote along my classical collection. And if they ever ramp it up to 512 Gb, then I can go lossless, which makes a significant difference on the ol' Lexicon car stereo.

That's pretty cool. That was my favourite song of "The Warning" way back in the day.
I used to be a fan of particular bands like Rush, Yes, and Deep Purple. Now I travel the Proglands, exploring a little bit of everything. I have become a Prog Voyager.

Quick note of caution: beware what you use as your ringtone. Your fave piece of music might just turn sour on you. It has happened to a few friends of mine who today can't listen to the songs they'd chosen: Rolling Stones - Sway (one of my faves as well - gotta love Mick Taylor!!), Dead Can Dance - Xavier (ditto bar the Mick Taylor comment) and Wu-Tang Clan's C.R.E.A.M. (double ditto).
Brilliance is brilliance though but then again if you only eat chocolate and reindeer meat (yummy) you may tire of it at some point.

I have about 20K songs on my cell phone, which is most of my collection. According to iTunes that's 1645 albums (wow!) and I figure probably between a third and a half of that is prog. Too lazy to actually figure out what it all is.

For the sake of what this topic seems to be getting at though, which is which ones you carry with you to listen to lately, the playlist of stuff I've been listening to most recently includes Agalloch, Angels of Light, Bjork, Captain Beefheart, Current 93, Fire Orchestra, Flying Lotus, Goat, Gong, Kairon; IRSE, Man Man, Orphaned Land, Peter Hammill, Pseudo/Sentai and Shining.

The secret is being an introvert.  I speak on my cell almost only to arrange meeting friends/colleages, etc., an average of ten minutes per month.  Also, because of the nature of my job, the ringer is often off.

I thought phones were for playing music and looking sh*t up!
More heavy prog, please!
