None of it was weirder than Ventura.  That was a trip having him for Governor.  It was like being governed by a 5 year old....he actually would have tantrums.  He actually took his head set off and just sat there once because a caller on this radio show wouldn't quit asking a question Jesse didn't want to answer.

But we survived, proving the people can outlast the occasional professional wrestler.

My parents and cousins live in western Christchurch where the quake hit, all they lost were a few things that fell off shelves. Other parts of the city, where the ground is softer, were really badly hit.

We have a show over here called "1000 ways to die" I guess they'll have to change the name to "1001 ways to die".

Tragic way to go. I like early ELO.

Report: Taliban tries to stop the music in Afghanistan — again

Prog archives needs to declare war on the Taliban.  Who's with me on this?

Nice work if you can get it. I'm not sure about ''Emotion Classification'', but prog on prescription sounds good:

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but I just saw it on the news this morning. Some nutcase pastor down in Gainsville, Florida has declared Saturday interational Koran Burning Day. He plans to have a bonfire and burn one Koran for each person who died in the 911 attacks. Then some nutcase Muslim cleric says that if he proceeds with this event Americans will be killed wherever they are on the planet

Wow ! has the world gone wacky or what?

Thanks. I haven't been on that thread at all.

As I just said on that thread I think that the Americans would be wise to stop this lunatic from having his bloody stupid  " bonfire " because of the threats being made against Americans by Muslim extremists. It might be going against his constitutional  rights and if they do stop him he'll certainly kick up a fuss. But what do you do?

Interesting note about how it's not eating animals that is the problem, but the way they are farmed.
