I just bought that Battles album, I haven't given it a close listen yet, but my first impression is that I like it a lot more than I liked Gloss Drop. But it's been a long time since I heard Gloss Drop, and I was in a bad mood when I listened to it.

Time for me to give it another listen. I don't really remember that much from my first listen to it.

Now, also on Spotify, one of my Top 10 prog albums. Need to get this on CD, someday.

Listening to this one again for the fourth time:
This is really a fantastic album and it just gets better with repeated listening. I can't wait to hear the others.

The Tangent right? I have been seriously wanting to get into their music. My only problem is with Andy Tillison's vocals. I'm sure I could get used to them.

Like i said, the vocals are the acquired part. Fantastic band and their best album right there.

Love them, and I figure if you can get used to Jon A. you can get used to Tillison
