Been really getting into both of them recently. Kate's had some incredible songs, especially on the first 4 or 5 albums, but I'll have to go for Peter. His stuff is much more complete and just right up my street to be honest, plus some killer songs (mainly from "Melt" and "So").

Thanks for any feedback Smile

Sorry Xonty, but I never got the bug for Kate's music. She is beautiful though. I feel the exact opposite about Gabriel, so he gets the vote.

Love both but Kate's recent resurgence for excellent new material get's my vote. PG just wants to scratch backs....Great poll actually, equivalents I guess.

good poll. Unlike most it seems, it is a hard choice.

If not for Raff I would have voted for P.G as I love his solo stuff but one of the many fringe benefits of getting my hands on Raff's album collection is gaining a deep appreciation for the music of Kate Bush. I really didn't know her music too well prior to that.  I have come to really love it.

Giving the vote to the lady. the more for the fact as Chris noted, she still has the creative juices flowing today

Totally agree. They could definitely be considered equivalents.

I've a lot of respect for PG but the vote goes to Kate.

I'll vote for Kate Bush, if only for the Dreaming and 50 Words For Snow.

Another vote for Kate. I like PG solo much more than when he was with Genesis, but his output is a bit uneven if compared with Kate's - and he also hasn't released any new material for far too long.

Kate is good, but Peter is the angel for once.

Both are great, but I prefer Peter Gabriel's solo material.

Gabriel.... as much as I like Bush, a lot of her music is hit or miss for me.

Kate's first two albums are enough to put her past Gabriel, for me.
