Marillion....But with FISH

Sorry E, but can't stand Hogarth's era, to me Hogarth to Marillion is what Collins was to Genesis.

I always try to find myself, I was near the dressed as a  monk with a red hood (Well, there were a couple).

^Nothingface is usually considered their best, but you could also try Dimension Hatross.

Haha, I expected this comment from Iván.
I agree BTW about the Marillion/Hogarth statement (not the Collins/Genesis).
Post-Fish Marillion is a riddle to me, I find it very boring, except for maybe some stuff on the early Hogarth albums.
My vote for Marillion is because I think the early Marillion/Fish albums are very good.

I also like The Outer Limits a lot. Darryl posted a video of the 17-minute epic "Jack Luminous", which of course is the album's centrepiece, but their cover of "The Nile Song" is also fantastic.

And the other reason I voted for Simarillion is that Voivod sound horrible ...to my delicate ears...

actually Steve.. that is why I haven't voted yet.  I really do not care a single bit for Marillion but really don't know Voivod.  Raff tells me we have some of their stuff, I might take a listen and if I like it. I vote for them, if not.  I'll vote for Marillion for the import/legacy. Not that it really matters.. I'm sure Marillion will walk the dog in this one.

If only you had a video of Paul Sears' Marillion rant!

just listened to The Outer Limits.  Good enough, 1 album I like over a group that did none that connected with me (did try 4 back in the day)

Voivod for me!

Thanks, guys. I fully suspect it will be Voivod based on what I've heard thus far (and I don't like Marillion much at all), but I want to be sure.

Hell, dude, I knew of your distaste for Hogarth era Marillion eons ago. We can't agree on everything.

VOIVOD. Never really got the huge love for Marillion. I feel like they're a "must have been there" kind of band.

As you well know I am in that camp too but I have always loved your passion for the Hogarth stuff. For that reason alone I would back you anytime in his defense. Approve

Such an irony, I'm the big metal head around here and I'm the one voting for Marillion!
