I'd recommend all the Henry Cow albums plus Learn To Talk by Skeleton Crew and Hopes And Fears  by Art Bears. I've also heard some hate on Keep The Dog's The House We Lived In but I think it's superb.
There is no dark side in the moon, really... Matter of fact, it's all dark...

Speechless and Gravity are the clear winners since  they are "busier" cos there is a guest band.

Technology of Tears 2lp set is a good one also.

To specify I mainly mean the albums that he was a big part of like his solo projects and the other bands he was in.
I know he worked with tons people and I probably have some albums he participated in that I don't know about.

All the Henry Cow, even Concerts.

For Art Bears, The World As It Is Today.

Have to second Gravity.

If your feeling adventurous, go listen to Torture Garden and Naked City, albums he made with the legendary John Zorn.

I'd even recommend Domestic Stories; he might've only played a supporting role there, but that album cannot be missed.

And if you're really adventurous, then check out Guitar Solos.
