hahah..

strategic vote for.. Discipline. LOLClap

Don't want to be sleeping the couch.. or have my beer and triscuits thrown out the window.. not to mention have Uncle Ian freeze me out of great suggestions.

Sorry Mirage.   shame such a great album as that was tainted by your association to f**king Camel.

I saw Camel live last week and they blew me away, much as I respect KC's album.  So, no contest!

I don't like King Crimson (Except ITCOTCK and Starless), but at least Discipline doesn't work as a valium tablet.

CAMEL = ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

The only CAMEL album that would get a vote from me could be Moonmadness if compared to a weak album

Relistening verdict - Mirage is definitely *the* classic Latimer-Ward-Ferguson-Bardens lineup album, a commended three stars for me; some absolutely gorgeous guitar work in places and bonus points for cheesiest-fantasy-lyrics-in-a-prog-song-ever narrowly pipping Rush's The Necromancer.

I think when I started listening to Discipline it was the loud bits that were the highlights but now it's the beautiful quiet sections - The Sheltering Sky, Matte Kudasai, that solo a little into Elephant Talk, the stick work at the start of Discipline. Extraordinary album with a really unique vocabulary. Getting my vote.

Mirage is a great album - apart from the vocals imo...

I'll give the vote to Discipline, but it's fairly tight. KC were arguably past their best and Camel were approaching their peak...
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Mirage is good too, but not quite as cool.

come on Discipline!!!

come on folks.. Micky is in the doghouse because of this. She blames me, even though I did vote for Discipline, for not being adament enough and hating on the Camel.  Hey I like Mirage.. it is a good rockin' prog album.. but hey..  King Crimson is King Crimson.. many things they may be.. but you can not call them 4th division generic prog. Where is the love of the adventurous.. that progressive spirit!!

*how was that darling.. can I sleep in our bed tonight.. PLEASE!! LOL*
