Second vote for Yes against Renaissance this morning, although I quite enjoy Camera Camera.

It's cool to see some folks actually appreciate Camera Camera. It really impressed me from the very first spin - is it Pop with a Proggy bent, or Prog with a Poppy bent to it ?? John Camp absolutely nails the bass, and Annie sounds as fine as ever. The rest of the band are no slouch either.

A good poll to illustrate the importance of songwriting. Drama is not spectacularly good but a decent album that doesn't veer too far outside Yes's comfort zone. For all of the claims made as to how indispensable Anderson is, Horn does a decent job filling in. On the other hand, while Ren try a few things on Camera Camera, they can't quite put it together and thereafter not even Annie can help salvage the material beyond a point. Even a great singer needs at least decent songs to utilise his/her talent while good material can sail through even with decent vocals.
